Kiwi rapper Tiki Taane has been excused from a court appearance today following his arrest for performing NWA's 'Fuck The Police' in New Zealand last week.
The 34-year old rapper was arrested when he performed the controversial 80s rap in a Tauranga nightclub last Saturday night.
Police charged him with 'disorderly behaviour that was likely to cause violence' even though the only suggested violence was from the New Zealand police themselves.
Taane was due to appear in court to face the ridiculous charge tomorrow morning. He has been excused due to a previous engagement. The hearing is expected to be rescheduled.
